TRIVIUM

Have any of you seen the new TV ads featuring a nerdy young man who reports that has just scored a job at GE where he will be writing code to help trains run better?  Or the GE ad about the shaggy slouching new-born idea that sprouts peacock feathers when it is treated gently?  I do not know which Ad agency is responsible, but someone there is a genius.  The ads are pitch perfect.  Why on earth is GE advertising?  Who knows?  Maybe they are having trouble recruiting programmers.  Be that as it may, I feel an obligation to recognize real creativity wherever it pops up.

It's all about branding. GE has advertised for years, but these ads seemed designed to rebrand themselves as more hip new tech, less old school industrial.
